Forward " Dear Diary "
....“Dear Diary” is a book, currently under construction. It is written by me, Carrie Sue Baldwin.
New articles will be inserted from time to time. The book already has 11 chapters in need of editing.
It is my hopes that by sharing my experiences that it will better help individuals, recognize their transitional issues. I am a M-F, post-op transsexual. I enjoying driving my Taxicab and contributing to our community.
I recently stepped away from serving a local organization for three years as both President and Member
I enjoy helping from time to time on the Gala Esprit (An annual transgender convention).
I enjoy life, and rejoice in the Bliss of my freedom to express, and share the love, that I have been afraid to show. Gender Diaspora is like nothing else.
All of my thoughts at the time had to be withheld. I had to live a lie 24-7 kind of like being schizophrenic because you had to display a presentation to others, and bury your true feelings and thoughts. How unfair is that ,for society to put on us? Or did we do it to ourselves?
Or perhaps a little of Both. We need to stick together and get more united Nationally.
We need to educate the Public that we, as Transsexuals, are different then Cross Dressers, Drag Queens and People who alter their Bodies for sexual exploitation. We were never failures in our originally born Gender either ! We are humans with real needs and real feelings. We will not dwell on the restrictions put on us by others in our time of existence. What we will do is, be grateful for any change that allows us more happiness.
Freedom of expression becomes a precious thing after living a life time of phony expression! For some of us, Our lives have been full of fear and shame, but no more. All across the Globe people are coming out of the closet and freeing their Spirits. I am happy to be one of them.
